Highland Park – 18 Year Old (70cl)

This is an 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Highland Park, the most northerly whisky distillery in Scotland, on Orkney. The spirit is made with slow-burning, aromatic peat from Hobbister Moor and hand-turned floor maltings. It matures in Sherry-seasoned European oak casks, followed by a long and unhurried harmonisation. Sherry casks and a heathery sweetness from Orcadian peat are often cited as the distillery's characteristic style. It is sold in a 70cl bottle.
