A Highland Park single malt distilled in 1971 on Orkney, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is typically described as concentrated dried fruit, dark honey, beeswax, orange oil and heathery peat, with old oak, antique leather and a delicate maritime note.
On the palate come Christmas cake, candied orange peel, stewed dark fruit, honeycomb and dark chocolate, with subtle smoke and oak spice. The finish is long, with gentle peat smoke, dried fruit sweetness and oak tannins.
