A Highland Park single malt distilled in 1976 on Orkney, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is typically described as rich dried fruit, heather honey, beeswax, orange marmalade and aromatic peat, with old oak and subtle maritime notes.
On the palate come dark chocolate, Christmas cake, stewed plums, honey and toffee, with gentle heathery smoke, cinnamon, clove and a hint of tropical fruit. The finish is long, with sweet spice, dried fruit, elegant smoke, oak tannins and a delicate saltiness.
