This Highland Park was distilled in 1991 and bottled by Signatory as a 35th Anniversary edition. It is a single malt at 53.4%, in a 70cl bottle. Highland Park was founded in 1798 in Kirkwall on Orkney and is the northernmost distillery in Scotland. Orkney peat differs considerably from Islay peat, and a heather-like sweetness is one of the whisky's basic aromas. The water comes from a spring at Cattie Maggie's Quarry.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
