A 1999 Highland Park single malt from the independent bottler Best Dram, bottled at 55.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Highland Park was founded in 1798 in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands and is the northernmost distillery in Scotland. Orkney peat differs considerably from Islay peat, which gives the whisky its particular taste. A heather sweetness is among its most frequently cited basic aromas. The distillery takes its water from a spring at Cattie Maggie's Quarry, which lies at a lower elevation.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
