This is a single cask Highland Park from a sherry hogshead, distilled on Orkney on 7 March 1992. Artful Dodger bottled it in March 2021 after 28 years, filling 297 half-litre bottles at 46.6%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose shows red berries, apples and kiwi alongside marzipan and fruitcake, with damp oak, mineral notes and hints of varnish, citronella wax and tobacco leaf. The palate is very oily, with sunflower oil and herbal salves, grapefruit, chalk and bitter orange marmalade, then black pepper, a salty touch, mandarin and herbal honey. The finish is long, mineral and mildly spicy, with medicinal hints, wax and drying tobacco.
