Highland Park 2002 is a 15 year old single cask Orkney single malt, bottled at 59.1% in a 70cl bottle for the Swiss market. It was distilled in 2002 and bottled in early 2018, and only 576 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured in a first-fill American oak sherry butt.
The notes describe sweet orange, dried fruit, gingerbread and light smoke on the nose. The palate is warm and smoky, with sweet oak, orange zest, gingerbread spices and aniseed, leading to a long, warm finish with fine smoke.
