The cask gave 565 bottles at 58.1%, each a 70cl bottle in a tube. The nose is sweet, with sherry, stewed fruit, leather and boat varnish, delicate overall. Dry sherry, bitter orange and oak lead the palate, and the finish is dry, spicy and long with a little pepper. It is a fruit-led Highland Park without the usual smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
