A 27 year old Highland Park single malt from Orkney, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice series. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in December 2022 for the United Kingdom market.
The whisky matured in a single refill American hogshead, and 222 bottles were filled from it. Refill oak lets the spirit lead, so the distillery's honeyed sweetness and gentle peat smoke come through.
It is described as having citrus, vanilla, heather honey and soft spice.
