This is a 33 year old single cask Highland Park from Orkney, the third edition of the Ambassador's Cask series. It was selected by Gerry Tosh, Highland Park's first Ambassador.
The whisky was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2007 at 44.8% ABV, in a 35cl bottle. A total of 372 bottles were released.
The nose opens smoky and floral, with dandelions and old leather, then turns fruitier, with fresh mint, camphor and cloves. On the palate come tangerine, pineapple and candied oranges, and the finish is smooth and moreish.
