Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 2 is a single malt matured in ex-sherry casks and bottled at 63.9% ABV. Because the strength of the casks varies, it is bottled straight from the cask with no water added. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers roses, fresh coconut and ripe pear, with cedar in the background. The palate is sweet and spicy, with almond cake, honey and salted liquorice, a hint of toasted oak and aniseed, and light smoke.
