Highland Park Dragon Legend is an Orkney single malt inspired by the Viking history of the islands and the courage and perseverance of the Viking code. It is made with malt dried over local Orkney peat and matured in European and American oak casks that were seasoned with sherry.
Bottled at 43.1% in a 70cl bottle, it is natural in colour, a clear, bright, deep gold.
The nose gives vanilla pods, roasted notes, freshly cut grass and mulled wine. On the palate are earth, heather and smoke, with pepper, spice, malt and an oily texture. The finish is short, with dried fruit, barley and toast.
