Highland Park – Fire Edition (70cl, 45.2%)

Highland Park Fire is a limited 15-year-old single malt from Orkney, bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is the second and last release in a series that began with Highland Park Ice, and draws on Surtr, the fire giant of Norse myth. It matured in port seasoned casks and comes in a red bottle with a black wooden frame. The colour is slightly reddish. The nose is lively, with red fruits, warm vanilla, cinnamon and dark chocolate. The palate is lightly smoky, with vanilla, spice and plum. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
