Highland Park Ice Edition is a 17-year-old single malt from Orkney, bottled at 53.9% in a 70cl bottle. It follows the Valhalla Collection of 2015 and takes its inspiration from the ice giants of Norse mythology.
All of the whisky matured in first fill bourbon casks.
The nose brings cool fresh pineapple, ripe mango, smoky notes and ginger. On the palate it is powerful and sweet, with tropical fruit, peat smoke, vanilla and violet root. The finish is balanced, creamy, woody and spicy.
