Highland Park – Loki 15 Year Old Valhalla Collection (48.7%)

Highland Park Loki is a 15 year old limited edition single malt from Orkney, bottled at 48.7% ABV. It is named after the trickster god of Norse mythology and was created to mirror his shape-shifting character. It comes in a wooden frame that echoes the lines of a Viking long ship. The whisky was matured in traditional Spanish sherry casks and in some heavily peated casks, which give a smoky punch while keeping a light colour. Sweetness and spice run through it, and the finish is described as intriguing and complex.
