Highland Park Odin is the fourth and final release in the Valhalla Collection. This Orkney single malt was matured for 16 years in first-fill and refill sherry hogsheads and bottled at 55.8%. Its colour is dark amber.
The nose is strong, with coffee beans, cinnamon, walnuts, nutmeg and smoke. The palate is very rich and full, with sweet raisins, plums and preserved fruit, and the finish brings peat and walnuts. It is best taken neat, or with a few drops of cool water.
