A 12-year-old Highland Park single malt from Orkney, bottled at 55% in a 70cl bottle. Saint Magnus is Edition Two of the Inga Saga Trilogy and takes its name from a figure in Orkney's Viking history.
It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2010, with 11,994 bottles released.
The nose combines honey, ripe fruit and sweet malt with vanilla, warm spice, heather, oak and a little peat smoke. The palate is full, with honeyed sweetness, fruit and spicy wood. The finish is long and warming, with honey, oak spice and soft peat smoke, ending drier.
