Highland Park – Spirit of the Bear (1L, 40%)

A Highland Park single malt bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It belongs to a Highland Park series inspired by the wild animals that mattered to the Vikings, and here the bear is honoured by the warriors for its independence and resilience. The whisky is very smoky for the distillery, with a high proportion of sherry casks in the make-up. The nose is intense and smoky. On the palate there is ginger, nutmeg and sweet vanilla, followed by a finish of medium length.
