The Dark is a 17 year old Orkney single malt from Highland Park, and the first release in a new series from the distillery. It was matured for 17 years in European oak casks that previously held sherry.
It comes in an embossed black glass bottle. The serpent design draws on the great Norse sagas, and the runic lettering echoes the ancient carvings left by the Vikings on Orkney.
