Highland Park Valfather is a single malt from the Orkney Islands, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the distillery's Viking Legend series and is named after Odin, the Allfather of the Norse gods. Aromatic heather peat is central to its character, with the maritime influence of Orkney running through it.
The nose is led by peat smoke with heather honey, dried orchard fruits and a hint of sea spray. On the palate, intense peat meets sweet fruit, orange peel, vanilla and pepper. The finish is long and smoky, turning to sweet, spicy warmth.
