This is a Japanese blended whisky from Hinotori, released for the 45th anniversary of Goldorak, the anime hero of the 1970s. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle and is a limited edition. The bottle and box are designed in a manga style. The nose is soft, with cereal, light vanilla and a hint of citrus. The palate is creamy, with honey, sweet malt and subtle spice. The finish is smooth and slightly fruity, ending warm.
