Hødal Whisky No. 4 Broken Love is a Danish whisky made entirely from Danish ingredients. The mash is two thirds pilsner malt and one third beech-smoked malt, brewed at Skagen Bryghus, then distilled and matured at Nordisk Brænderi in North Jutland. It was filled on 29 October 2018 into a 200-litre PX sherry cask and bottled on 22 July 2022. Water from the Hødal moraine hills brings it down to 50% in a 50cl bottle. The sherry cask sits quietly behind the Funen malt rather than taking over.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
