Hødal Whisky No. 5 Oaky Passion (50cl, 46%)

Hødal Whisky No. 5 Oaky Passion is a Danish whisky made from organic Fuglsang barley malt. It was brewed at Thisted Bryghus and distilled at Nordisk Brænderi between 30 August and 7 September 2017. It was filled on 7 September 2017 into a 100-litre PX sherry cask and bottled five years later, on 7 September 2022. Water from the Hødal moraine hills brings it to 46% in a 50cl bottle, with 2009 bottles filled. The nose is full of wood, spice, malty sweetness and preserved plums. The palate brings dark chocolate, liquorice and brown biscuits.
