Hødal Whisky Special Edition 3 5 Year Old (50cl, 46%)

Hødal Special Edition 3 is a five-year-old single cask single malt from Nordisk Brænderi in North Jutland, Denmark, in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is made entirely from Danish ingredients, using barley grown on Funen and malted at the Refsvindinge maltings. The whisky was matured in a PX sherry cask. The sherry sits in the background and leaves room for the Funen malt to come through. The nose is full of woody depth, spices, malty sweetness and pickled plums. On the palate there is dark chocolate, liquorice and spiced brown biscuits.
