Holyrood Distillery – Ambir (70cl, 49.8%)

Ambir is a single malt from Holyrood Distillery, bottled at 49.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is a sweet, creamy whisky that reflects the distillery's work with specialty malts, and it uses four of them: chocolate malt, Vienna malt, Crystal 240 and Caramalt. The nose is caramel, creamy fudge, Demerara sugar and Scottish tablet. The palate brings red fruits, vanilla and cornflakes. The finish has a velvety biscuit texture and is mouth-watering, with a hint of savoury at the end.
