Holyrood – Distillery Embra Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

Embra is a peated single malt from Holyrood Distillery in Edinburgh, in a 70cl bottle. It was created as an introduction to peated whisky, and takes its name from the city that is the way into Scotland for many visitors. The whisky is matured three times over, in first-fill bourbon barrels, Islay quarter casks and new American oak barrels. The aim was bold, smoky flavours and textures that stay approachable for someone new to peat, while keeping the hallmark character of a lightly peated whisky for experienced drinkers.
