Embra is a single malt from Holyrood, made in the heart of Edinburgh. It is a smoky Lowland malt, bottled at 43.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings lemon zest, horse chestnut pith, hints of peppermint and light hickory smoke. On the palate come wafer biscuits and dark chocolate mousse, with earthy Highland peat smoke in the background. The finish is clean and well rounded, with light stewed pears.
