A golden blended malt from independent bottler Hunter Laing, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is the Highland member of the Journey Series, which draws on four regions: Highland, Islay, Campbeltown and Hebridean. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is rich and sweet, with custard, fudge and toffee apples. The palate is creamy and buttery, sweet at first, then developing into a fruit salad of apricots, peaches and pears alongside custard powder. The finish is fairly short and sweet, with oak and nuts.
