Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Collector's Edition is a blended whisky curated by Ichiro Akuto, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It combines Japanese malt whisky from the Chichibu and Hanyu heritage with malt and grain whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the USA. The blend was matured and married in Japan.
The nose offers honeycomb, orchard fruits and vanilla cream, with a little coconut and light spice. On the palate there is ripe pear, toffee, citrus zest and a malty backbone. The finish is medium to long, with sweet oak, vanilla and gentle spice.
