Ichiro's Malt Mizunara Wood Reserve (70cl, 46.5%)

Ichiro's Malt Mizunara Wood Reserve is a blended malt from Ichiro Akuto, formerly of Hanyu distillery and now founder and distiller at Chichibu. It is a blend of malt whiskies drawn from his own stocks. Part of the blend was matured in mizunara, the fragrant Japanese oak. Only small amounts of it are made available to the industry for filling casks, and it gives the whisky a refined, almost incense-like air. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle.
