Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blended malt from Ichiro Akuto, founder of Japan's Chichibu distillery. Akuto is regarded as one of the country's most respected distillers and as a master blender. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The blend combines Chichibu whiskies finished in red wine casks with Scottish whisky. It is described as rich and jammy, with considerable complexity.
