Indri Agneya is a lightly peated Indian single malt from Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, made in the foothills of the Himalayas. Its name comes from a Sanskrit word meaning "belonging to fire". It is made from indigenous six-row Indian barley peated to 25 ppm, matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks, and is non-chill filtered.
On the nose there is chocolate, vanilla, dried apple and apricot with a little peat dust. The palate brings mango, ripe banana, toffee and melon, followed by soft dried peat smoke. The finish is sweet and salty, ending smooth and smoky.
