Indri Diwali Collector's Edition 2024 is an Indian single malt, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from peated Indian six-row barley, distilled in Indian-made copper pot stills and filled into hand-selected sherry butts. It matures in the subtropical climate of the northern plains of India.
Peat and sherry are both gentle here. The nose has smoke and sherry with dates, raisins, caramel and a wet-earth note. The palate is subtly sweet and fruity, with a little peat, malt, oak, tannin and spice, and hints of sweetness and saltiness. The finish is lingering and well balanced.
