A 2023 icewine from Inniskillin in Canada's Niagara region, made entirely from Vidal Blanc grapes. The grapes are harvested at -10°C, which gives concentrated sweetness with lively acidity. It comes in a 375ml bottle.
The nose shows peach peel, apricot, mango and citrus zest, with warm honey and floral notes. The palate has peach, apricot and candied brown sugar, with a crisp, citrus-tinged backbone and a silky texture.
The finish is long, with honeycomb and chamomile. Serve well chilled, at 8 to 10°C.
