This is a Vidal icewine from Inniskillin in the Niagara Peninsula, made from Vidal Blanc grapes that froze naturally on the vine. It comes in a 375ml bottle and has an ABV of 9.5%.
The grapes were handpicked at around -10°C, which concentrates their sugars and gives a rich, viscous wine. Its sweetness is balanced by bright acidity.
On the nose there are mango, pineapple and apricot, with hints of orange peel and lemon. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with peach and apricot supported by orange and mango, and a refreshing acidity.
