Islay Traditional Cask Single Malt (Berry Bros. & Rudd) (70cl, 45.3%)

This is an Islay single malt bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 45.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a lightly peated, fruity whisky matured in traditional whisky casks, with the contents of the chosen casks combined into small batches for bottling. It is chill-filtered and has colouring added. The character is built on soft peat smoke, green fruit, honeydew melon, sweet malted barley and dry earth. On the nose, soft smoke meets green fruit. The palate turns smokier, joined by green fruit and honeydew melon. The medium to long finish brings fruit sweetness, dry earth and soft toffee as the smoke fades slowly.
