Isle of Harris – Single Malt Whisky (46%)

This is a lightly peated single malt from Isle of Harris Distillery in Tarbert, bottled at 46% ABV. It is the distillery's second core expression and the first to carry the island's name on the label, and it marks ten years of distilling on Harris. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, and was made as a relaxed, everyday companion to The Hearach, the distillery's flagship. The nose is buttery, with butterscotch, cherry bakewell tart, orchard fruit and florals. The palate brings buttery caramel, clove and liquorice, and the finish is long and creamy with a trace of peat smoke.
