Isle of Raasay Lightly Peated is a single malt bottled by the distillery on the Isle of Raasay at 46.4% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in Bordeaux, Chinkapin and rye casks.
The nose has singed heather smoke with sweet berries, cherries, apricots, candied ginger and a pinch of sea salt, along with rye spice and herbs. The palate is oily and creamy, with beeswax, vanilla, toffee and cinnamon, and soft wood smoke around blackcurrant, apricot and grapefruit. The finish is dry and long, with candied fruit, a touch of salt, liquorice and smoke.
