Isle of Raasay – Marsala Cask Limited Release 2025 (50.7%)

A limited 2025 release of single cask single malt from Isle of Raasay, made from the distillery's lightly peated spirit and matured entirely in ex-Frazzitta Marsala Vergine barriques. It is the distillery's first release from this type of cask, bottled at 50.7% ABV. The Marsala influence brings baked apples with apricots and lingering smoky toffee. The nose is grape must, sweetness, a light sharpness and Parma violets. On the palate come stewed apples, ginger, maple syrup, sweet pear and balsamic vinegar, and the finish is long, with lingering smoke.
