Isle of Raasay – Peated First Fill Ex-Bordeaux Red Wine Cask

This is a peated Isle of Raasay single malt from the Scottish islands, matured in a first-fill ex-Bordeaux red wine cask. The tasting notes open with wood smoke, red apples and ripe blackberries on the nose. The palate is very smoky, with red berries, ripe cherries, chocolate and salt. The finish brings cranberries, wild berries and oak.
