This is a peated Isle of Raasay single malt from the distillery's Na Sia Single Cask series, matured in a first-fill rye whiskey cask and bottled at 62.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 258 bottles were filled.
The cask came from the Woodford Reserve distillery in Kentucky, where the mash contains 53% rye. Casks of this kind bring pepper, sweet spice and butterscotch notes to the Raasay malt.
