This is a peated single malt from Isle of Raasay, in a 70cl bottle at 52% ABV. It is the first of the distillery's annual Special Releases.
The whisky matured first in ex-rye whiskey casks, then received a finish in Oloroso and PX sherry quarter casks.
The notes describe peppery spice, almonds, nuts and dried fruit, with floral touches, nutmeg and cinnamon.
