This is an unpeated Isle of Raasay single malt from the distillery's Na Sia Single Cask series, matured in a first-fill rye whiskey cask and bottled at 61.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 247 bottles were filled.
The cask came from the Woodford Reserve distillery in Kentucky, where the mash contains 53% rye. Casks of this kind bring pepper, sweet spice and butterscotch notes to the Raasay malt.
