Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye (70cl, 50%)

Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye is a Tennessee rye whiskey, the first from the Lynchburg distillery to carry the Bottled-in-Bond designation. It was made by a single distiller in one season, aged at least four years in a bonded warehouse and bottled at 100 proof, or 50%. The mash bill is 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. The whiskey is mellowed through charcoal before it goes into new, handmade American white oak barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose is sweet with candy and orange blossom, then spice. The palate opens with fruit and honey, moves to caramel and tea, then clove, ginger and cinnamon. The finish is long and spicy, ending on toffee.
