Jack Daniel's Holiday Select 2011 (75cl, 50%)

Jack Daniel's Holiday Select 2011 is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof, in a 75cl bottle. It is the first in a limited series of Holiday Select releases and the Christmas edition for 2011. The whiskey was put together from 187 casks. Like all Jack Daniel's, it is made with iron-free water from the cave spring at Lynchburg and passes through charcoal mellowing: sugar maple wood is burned to charcoal, stacked three metres high, and the spirit seeps through it drop by drop before it goes into white oak casks.
