Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 (35cl, 40%)

Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey in a 35cl bottle. It is made from corn, rye and malted barley, distilled twice, and the new spirit is dripped through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into cask. It matures in new, charred American white oak barrels. The charcoal mellowing, known as the Lincoln County Process, contributes to the soft character. It is bottled at 40%, chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose is vanilla and caramel with light fruit and a touch of smoke. The palate is soft, with toasted oak, sweet corn and mild spice, and the finish is mild and lasting, leaving a gentle sweetness.
