Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The mash is corn, rye and malted barley, with iron-free water from Cave Spring. After two distillations, the spirit passes drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matures in new charred American white oak barrels.
The nose has medium vanilla, caramel and almond, with fruit that deepens with maturation. The palate is pleasantly dry. The finish is soft and round, with tannin and wood giving it a firm structure.
