Jack Daniel's Tennessee Travelers Bold & Spicy is a straight Tennessee rye whiskey in a 50cl bottle, at 53.5% ABV. It belongs to a series of whiskeys all made at the Jack Daniel Distillery. The mash is 70% rye, 12% barley and 18% corn, and the rye grain gives the spicy character. At 107 proof, the strength is meant to bring up flavour rather than heat. It is typically described as caramel and dry baking spices, with soft, sweet fruit, rye spice and oak, and a peppery rye note at the end.
