Jameson is a blended Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery in Cork, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The house has made it the John Jameson way since 1780.
It is triple distilled and blends pot still whiskey with grain whiskey, made from barley and maize. The whiskey is aged in oak casks for a minimum of four years.
The nose is light and floral, with fresh fruit, vanilla and sweet sherry. On the palate it is spicy, nutty and vanilla-led, with more sweet sherry and a gentle oiliness from the pot still whiskey. The finish is smooth, clean and warm, running medium to long.
