Jameson Triple Triple (40%)

Jameson Triple Triple is an Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, bottled at 40%. It is both triple distilled and triple cask matured. The blend brings together single pot still and single grain whiskeys, matured in three types of cask. It began as a travel retail release before moving to general release. One version uses bourbon, sherry and Malaga wine casks, while a newer edition uses bourbon, sherry and sweet chestnut casks. The nose offers toffee fudge, vanilla and hazelnut chocolate with sweet pear and green apple. The palate is creamy and textured, with fudge, dark chocolate, mild nuttiness and gentle spice. The finish is medium to long, with oak lingering.
